This skirt is a gorgeous neutral, on both layers.
The short layer features a tightly-packed geometric pattern, with circles and pointed ovals in pink, sand, bittersweet orange, and tumbleweed (what my partner calls spicy/sandy colors). These colors continue into the side panels, where you will see a larger focal piece and the pallu, with some ribbon detail.
The long layer is very abstract, with leaves sprinkled over a bed of dark clouds. the sides and the pallu feature a very dark maroon lacey floral pattern, which contrasts nicely. The colors at play here are Gray, Silver, Timberwolf, and maroon.
Short layer shows no obvious damage. The entire long layer has been well loved, with some pilling and softening of the fabric texture. No other damage noted. It is beautiful.
This skirt is approximately 59"x33", plus ties. Darn Good Yarn skirts have 3 buttonholes in the waistband.
