Darn Good Yarn skirts are made from recycled sarees in India and Nepal, and the artisans are paid a fair wage and provided safe employment. Because these skirts are made from up-cycled materials you may find small blemishes such as pin holes, minor thread pulls, and small stains on the fabric. We try to point out any obvious damage, but are human and might miss something. Just let us know if you have concerns about the quality of your skirt. It is normal for the "good" side of the long layer to face forward when wearing the skirt with the short layer out. Most wearers simply flip the short layer over the waistband as in the second full skirt photo to reveal that otherwise hidden beauty.
