Oh, my. This skirt. I feel like it came to us from a time machine, set to 1977. Perfect for a Lido Deck party on The Love Boat.
The short layer is a gorgeous Caribbean blue/green with bold swirls of salmon, red and unmellow yellow. The bottom border features the same colors, but in a pattern of broad vertical stripes. There is also a contrasting pallu which brings more of the green into the stripes. Amazing.
The long layer is a gorgeous ditsy of almond, periwinkle and desert sand, with a bottom border set off by a chocolate border.
The short layer has minor pin holes and thread pulls, tiny ink dots/misses, and ink bleeds across color changes. Soft to touch, flowing fabric. Long layer is a bit thinner, tightly packed flowers, slightly larger but still small flowers along borders. Very nice and no obvious damage.
This skirt is approximately 58"x33", plus ties. Darn Good Yarn skirts have 3 buttonholes in the waistband.
