Another Kandinsky - Darn Good Yarn Regular-sized Ankle skirt

Short layer is bright green with a darker green diamond pattern and an almond border that features buildings and trees. This layer is soft and flowing with embroidered thread on the base and on one tie. These embellishments are unexpected points of interest.  

Long layer is rather sheer, and resembles a Kandinsky painting. The background is almond, and provides the perfect canvas for the architectural and geometric elements. The pallu and border are fully abstract, with elements of a brick wall featuring fan, aquamarine, midnight blue and orchid. There are minor thread pulls and ink misses and this layer is sewn asymmetrically, with a shorter center panel flanked by two longer sections. It's cut this way, not assembled this way. 

This skirt is approximately 49"x33", plus ties.   Darn Good Yarn skirts have 3 buttonholes in the waistband.
