This skirt looks like a hanging-mirror mobile. I love it so much.
The short layer has half circles of mango radiating out from a bottom arc, on a background of a very dark olive-brown. The overall effect is hypnotic. There are side and bottom borders which bring in some robin's egg blue as a contrast.
The long layer is a lovely off-white with small flowers and dramatic damask borders. Perfect skirt for our black and white lovers. Really striking.
The short layer has some ink misses, and one small area of what appears to be white paint. The long long layer has bonus blue embroidery--it's lovely, but we aren't sure if this is just a random embellishment or if it is covering unseen damage. The embroidery is backed by paper, though, which will likely dissolve when you wash it.
This skirt is approximately 56"x32", plus ties. Darn Good Yarn skirts have 3 buttonholes in the waistband.
