The short layer is really well put together. The main section is cotton candy with small zig zags in red violet/ The pallu is alternating stripes of that same pattern with a contrast of bands of blue boteh on a green background, and also on a white background, which itself has small zig zags. A well thought-out combo, There is a bottom border which complements the pallu.
The long layer is sort of an abstracted checkerboard, with gold and green flowers (upside down) interspersed between rectangles of strawberry leaves. Really striking at a distance; really pretty close up. The bottom border is sewn on with a somewhat stiff ribbon.
The short layer has minor ink misses. The long layer has no damage, however, one panel of the sewn bottom border is reversed with the duller side of the fabric facing forward.
This skirt is approximately 63"x36", plus ties. Wevez skirts have 2 buttonholes in the waistband.
