The short layer is aquamarine, with a small-scale ditsy pattern of tan and bittersweet flowers and starbursts. This layer has a satiny feel, but is a little stiff, almost like a good percale. It's gorgeous if you are a fan of blue! There are darker cornflower blue borders with larger scale boteh and flowers and vines. This pattern repeats at the waistband and the ties.
The long layer is amazing--if you are looking for musical instruments, this may be your skirt. The layer is almond with olive and burnt sienna musicians. There are two sets of pairs of musicians that repeat on this layer--one is two people sharing a drum; the other is two people blowing a horn under a tree. The border has alternating panels of a person blowing a horn and a person striking a gong. So cool! The entire long layer has what looks almost like faint yellow highlighter stains, but they may just be ink bleed/ink misses. We've taken several photos of this phenomenon, so that you can decide.
Because of the amount of staining, or the areas of consistent misprinting, we are offering this as a screwed-up skirt, and will start the pricing at a discount.
It really is a great skirt--snap it up!
**Note** Because of the abnormal amount of damage, this is one of our Screwed-up Skirts. It has been priced accordingly, and is not eligible for returns.
This skirt is approximately 48" x 24", plus ties. Wevez skirts have 2 buttonholes in the waistband.
