We source our skirts from two main suppliers. Darn Good Yarn skirts are made from recycled saris in India and Nepal, and the artisans are paid a fair wage and provided safe employment. Wevez skirts are ethically-sourced and made at a co-op in India where the workers are paid a living wage. Because these skirts are made from up-cycled materials you may find small blemishes such as pin holes, minor thread pulls, and small stains on the fabric. We try to point out any obvious damage, but are human and might miss something. Just let us know if you have concerns about the quality of your skirt. It is normal for the "good" side of the long layer to face forward when wearing the skirt with the short layer out. Most wearers simply flip the short layer over the waistband as in the second full skirt photo to reveal that otherwise hidden beauty.

Our Lily and Laura bracelets are made in Nepal, in the Kathmandu Valley by artisans who are paid more than fair-trade wages. They are made with Matsuno glass beads, and each bracelet is crocheted by hand.

Our earrings are hand-made by artisans who are not paid at all, which is to say that we make them ourselves, in-house, from original designs.
